BLYTHEVILLE, Ark. -- Thomas (Tom) J. Gowen, 39, of Perryville died Friday, Jan. 26, 1996, at Baptist Hospital in Blytheville, Ark.
He was born Feb. 2, 1956, in Bloomsdale, the son of the late Vernon Grover Gowen Sr. and Mae L. Boyer Gower.
He married Geri Keith on Feb. 22, 1974.
He is survived by his wife, his mother, two daughters, Sharon and Mary, and a son, Tommy, all of Perryville; five brothers: Vernon, John and Danny Gowen and David Dickerson, all of Perryville, and Roger Gowen of Ft. Riley, Kan.; and five sisters: Carol Lynn, Shirley Barnes, Rita Sutterer and Patty Skaggs, all of Perryville, and Ella Dluglolski of Edin Broe, Pa.
Mr. Gowen was a truck driver with DanCo. Transport.
Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. today and from 6:30 a.m. until service time Monday at Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Miller Family Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jonathan Brown officiating. Burial will be in Concord Cemetery.
