THOMAS E. BREWER

SIKESTON -- Thomas Edward Brewer, 71, of Sikeston, died Thursday, May 16, 1991, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

He was born Jan. 1, 1920, at Kennett, son of Everett Austin and Minnie Bell McCulley Brewer. He married the former Phyllis M. Brown Sherman Dec. 1, 1945, in Piggott, Ark.

Brewer was a retired driver with Sikeston Concrete Products Co., and member of American Legion Post 114 here, and First Baptist Church in Kennett. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, James Brewer of Sikeston, Donald Sherman of Cleveland, Ga., Dairl Sherman of Sweetwater, Texas; a daughter, Sue Stevens of Kennett; a brother, William Brewer of Kennett; 10 grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Don Embry will officiate, with burial in Oak Ridge Cemetery at Kennett.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. Saturday.
