Funeral for Thomas Joseph Dohogne Sr. of Cape Girardeau will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. The Rev. Dan Schulte will officiate. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 4-8 p.m. today. Parish prayers will be at 7.
Dohogne, 53, died Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2000, at his home.
He was born March 27, 1947, in Cape Girardeau, son of Silas Joseph and Mary Belle Roth Dohogne. He and Brenda Faye Abell were married June 6, 1981, in Cape Girardeau.
Dohogne owned and operated Dohogne Precision Metals 27 years, and had been a baseball coach. He was a member of St. Vincent's Church.
He was in the U.S. Navy Seabees and served in the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Tom Dohogne Jr. and Aaron Dohogne of Cape Girardeau; his parents of Cape Girardeau; two brothers, Dennis Dohogne of St. Peters, Mo., Patrick Dohogne of Cape Girardeau; four sisters, Christine Gaffigan of Springfield, Ill., Cecilia White of Columbia, Mo., Noelle Hendricks of Memphis, Tenn., and Teresa Buxton of Wildwood, Mo.
