ELCO, Ill. -- Thomas B. Williams, 82, of Elco, died Sunday, Jan. 14, 1996, at Jonesboro Healthcare Center.

He was born June 28, 1913, in Elco, son of George T. and Flora Ellen Sims Williams.

Williams, retired as a power use adviser with REA. He was a member of Elco United Methodist Church, Dongola Masonic Lodge, and served on the Alexander County School Board several years.

Survivors include a son, George Williams of Elco; two daughters, Gale Graves of Cheyenne, Wyo., Glenda Clark of Tulsa, Okla.; a sister, Sylvia Gearing of St. Louis; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren, and six great-stepgrandchildren.

Friends may call at Hileman and Parr Funeral Home in Jonesboro after 4 p.m. Thursday. A Masonic service will be held at 7.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the United Methodist Church in Elco. Burial will be in Sims Cemetery near Elco.
