SIKESTON -- Thomas Allen Smitten, 41, of Sikeston, died at his home Friday Dec. 23, 1994. He was born March 17, 1953 in St. Louis, the son of the late Kenneth H. Smitten and Mary Emma "Mimi" Allen Smitten, who survives of Sikeston. He was a 1970 graduate of Sikeston High School, attended Southwestern College in Memphis, and for many years was employed by the Allen-Davis Gin Co. in Matthews. SIKESTON -- Thomas Allen Smitten, 41, of Sikeston, died at his home Friday Dec. 23, 1994.

He was born March 17, 1953 in St. Louis, the son of the late Kenneth H. Smitten and Mary Emma "Mimi" Allen Smitten, who survives of Sikeston.

He was a 1970 graduate of Sikeston High School, attended Southwestern College in Memphis, and for many years was employed by the Allen-Davis Gin Co. in Matthews. He is a past member of the Sikeston Jaycees.

Other survivors include: one sister, Linda Smitten Keefer of Cape Girardeau; his maternal grandmother, Margaret Allen of Sikeston; one niece, Ginny Keefer of Cape Girardeau; and one nephew, Patrick Keefer of Cape Girardeau.

Visitation will be after 1:30 p.m. Monday at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Sikeston. A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. at the church, with Father Robert Bonnington officiating. The eulogy will be given by Tom Bradley.

Nunnelee Funeral Chapel of Sikeston is in charge of arrangements.
