Theresa W. Helton, 79, Cape Girardeau Route 3, died Friday, March 20, 1992, at St. Francis Medical Center.
She was born Sept. 20, 1912, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of William and Minnie Niemeier Kimmich. She married George W. Helton.
Helton had owned and operated Kimmich Cafe, and later retired from Ward's Big Star. She was a member of St. Vincent's Church.
Survivors include two sons, Michael "Mickey" Rooney of Spring, Texas, Gene Helton of Washington, Mo.; two daughters, Patricia Farrar and Sherri Williamson of Cape Girardeau; a sister, LaWanda Verhines of Cape Girardeau; 13 grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Vincent's Church, with the Rev. Ron Hoye officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 4-8 p.m. today. Parish prayers will be at 7:30.
