CHARLESTON - Theresa Frazier, 68, of Charleston, died Wednesday, Dec. 23, 1992, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center.
She was born Apr. 1, 1924, in Blaine, Mo., daughter of Kato and Sarah Ferguson Kirkwood.
She married Alonzo Frazier on Oct. 3, 1941. He died June 5, 1986.
Frazier had lived in Charleston since 1932. She was a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church where she served on the Mothers Board, the Usher Board, was president of the Baptist Training Union, a member of the Sunday school and the Willing Workers Club.
Survivors include three sons, Alonzo Frazier Jr., the Rev. Lavern Frazier and Rick Frazier, all of Charleston; six daughters, Hustella Frazier, Virginia Brown, Mary Frazier, Cynthia Riggens and Barbara Frazier, all of Charleston, Adella Webster of Detroit, Mich.; three brothers, Robert Kirkwood of Bloomington, Ill., Earnest Kirkwood of Peoria, Ill., Thurman Kirkwood of Hot Spring, Calif.; one sister, Sarah Howard of Mounds, Ill.; 27 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, two children, two brothers and a sister.
Friends may call at the Sparks Funeral Home from 6-7 p.m. Monday.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Mercy Seat Baptist Church with the Rev. Lavern Frazier officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston.
