THEOPHIL P. POPP

FROHNA -- Funeral service for Theophil P. Popp of Frohna will be held at 10 a.m. today at Concordia Lutheran Church. The Rev. Luther Herman will officiate, with burial in the church cemetery.

Young and Sons East Perry Chapel at Altenburg is in charge of arrangements.

Popp, 90, died Saturday, Dec. 18, 1993, at his home.

He was born April 27, 1903, at Frohna, son of Emanuel and Clara Seibel Popp. He and Hattie Bock were married Nov. 20, 1938. She died July 20, 1975. He later married Lillian Werner Aug. 6, 1978.

Popp was a retired farmer. He was a member of Concordia Church, Men's Club, Saxon Memorial, East Perry Fair Committee, and Farm Bureau.

Survivors include his wife of Cape Girardeau; two daughters, Margaret Popp of Dallas, Texas, Marie Klugman of Des Moines, Iowa; a sister, Roberta Oswald of Wayne, Neb., and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.
