CHARLESTON -- Theodore Gillespie Jr., 55, of Charleston, died Monday, June 13, 1994, at his home.
He was born Nov. 17, 1938, in Henson, son of Theodore and Sarah Smith Gillespie.
Gillespie was a farmer, and member of Opportunity Church of God In Christ.
Survivors include five sons, Marvin, Dennis, Delmar, Richard and Leonard Gillespie of Charleston; four daughters, Velma Gillespie of Irving, Texas, Lydia Gillespie and Denise Fennell of Charleston, Valarie Gillespie of Atlanta, Ga.; three brothers, Perry, Emmett and Larry Gillespie of Charleston; two sisters, Sarah Lewis and Margaret Nelson of Michigan City, Ind., and eight grandchildren.
Friends may call at Sparks Funeral Home from 7-8 p.m. Friday.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Opportunity Church, with Pastor Steve Betts officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
