APPLE CREEK -- Funeral mass for Theodore "Ted" Buchheit of Apple Creek will be held at 10 a.m. today at St. Joseph Catholic Church. the Rev. John Bolderson will officiate, with burial in Apple Creek Cemetery.
Miller Family Funeral Home at Perryville is in charge of arrangements.
Buchheit, 83, died Tuesday, July 7, 1992, at American Care Center.
He was born June 16, 1909, in Perry County, son of Joseph William and Anna Schott Buchheit. He and Edna Buchheit were married Oct. 16, 1933, at Apple Creek.
Buchheit was a retired foreman at International Shoe Co., and member of the Men's Association of Apple Creek.
Survivors include his wife; six sons, Clarence Buchheit of Perryville, Earl Buchheit of Cape Girardeau, Kenneth Buchheit of Apple Creek, Allen Buchheit of Silver Lake, Larry Buchheit of Ditmer, Ronnie Buchheit of Wentzville; a daughter, Stella Moore of St. Louis; two brothers, Phillip Buchheit of Chaffee, Isadore Buchheit of Apple Creek; four sisters, Theresa Hendrix of Peoria, Ill., Dora Hennemann of Perryville, Leonita Baer of Old Appleton, Marie Baer of St. Louis; 27 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild.
