Thelma G. Williams, 82, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, July 20, 2001, at St. Francis Medical Center.
She was born July 10, 1919, in Cairo, Ill., daughter of Oliver R. and Minnie M. Milligan Patterson. She and Bert B. Williams were married March 21, 1942, at Hannibal, Mo. He died Oct. 8, 1978.
Thelma owned and operated Thelma's Ceramic Shop in Wolf Lake, Ill., more than 25 years. She was a past member of Order of Eastern Star in Grand Tower and Anna, Ill. She moved to Cape Girardeau in 1992 from Wolf Lake. She was of the Baptist belief.
Survivors include three sisters, Dorothy Moss of Indianapolis, Ind., Mildred Stockham and Ruby Simpson of Cape Girardeau; two nieces, Sharon Wickham and Judy Patterson of Cape Girardeau; a nephew, Richard Stockman of Lancaster, Calif.; four great-nieces; two great-great-nieces; and two great-great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and two brothers.
Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Funeral Home. The Rev. Paul Kabo will officiate. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park.
Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday from 12:30 p.m. until time of service.
