SIKESTON, Mo. -- Thelma Faye Richardson, 81, died Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2002, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

She was born May 27, 1921, in Blodgett, Mo., daughter of John Henry and Stella Ethel Salyer Thompson.

Richardson was an operator 35 years with Southwestern Bell. She was a member of Murray Lane Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Gary Mize of Morley, Mo., John Richardson of Sikeston; a stepson, Jerry Richardson of Memphis, Tenn.; a sister, Helen Wood of Sikeston; and four grandchildren.

Friends may call at Ponder Funeral Home after 10 a.m. Friday.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Larry Davis officiating. Burial will be in New Morley Cemetery at Morley.
