Thelma Irene Marshall, 80, of North Chicago died Monday, Oct. 18, 2004, at Sheridan Health Care Center in Zion, Ill.
She was born May 24, 1924, at Morehouse, Mo., daughter of Jesse Pillar and Bendia Melinda Graham Culbertson. She and Glen Marshall were married March 9, 1946, in Cape Girardeau. He died in 1993.
Marshall lived in the Jackson area from 1983 until moving to Lyons, N.Y., in 1998, and then to North Chicago in 2000. She was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau.
Survivors include a son, the Rev. Michael Marshall of Helenville, Wis.; a brother, Eugene Culbertson of Jackson; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Michael Marshall and David Pringle officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery at Scott City.
