JACKSON -- Thelma M. Winkler, 71, of Jackson, died Wednesday, Oct. 4, 1995, at University Hospital in St. Louis. She was born Sept. 21, 1924, in St. Louis, daughter of Roy and Edith Boswell Hobeck. She married Edward E. Winkler, who died Aug. 15, 1983...

JACKSON -- Thelma M. Winkler, 71, of Jackson, died Wednesday, Oct. 4, 1995, at University Hospital in St. Louis.

She was born Sept. 21, 1924, in St. Louis, daughter of Roy and Edith Boswell Hobeck. She married Edward E. Winkler, who died Aug. 15, 1983.

Survivors include three sons, Tim Hopkins of DeSoto, Dennis Hopkins of Lawton, Okla., William Winkler of Jackson; a daughter, Winifred Burgfeld of Cape Girardeau; her mother of Jackson; a sister, Jean Reisenbichler of Jackson, and nine grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father and a daughter.

Private graveside service will be held at Russell Heights Cemetery.
