Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Puxico after 10:30 a.m.

Kuehn, 93, died Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2001, at Puxico Nursing Center.

She was born Aug. 7, 1908, in Puxico, daughter of Walter and Lula Mitchell Casey. She and George Kuehn were married April 7, 1941, in Holly Springs, Miss. He died June 7, 1998.

Kuehn was reportedly the first woman in Missouri to get a pilot's license. She lived in Memphis, Tenn., most of her life, returning to Puxico in 1998.

Survivors include a brother, Doug Fann of Puxico; and two sisters, Alma Helton and Rita Campagna of Puxico.

She was preceded in death by a brother.
