DEXTER, Mo. -- Thelma Harris, 84, of Dexter died Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2003, at her home.
She was born Oct. 15, 1919, at Bloomfield, Mo., daughter of Samuel Newton and Ollie Stafford Williams. She and Floyd W. Harris were married Jan. 13, 1940, in Angola, Ind. He died June 1, 2001.
Survivors include a daughter, Judith Dall of Farmington Hills, Mich.; a sister, Ruby Roy of Dexter; a granddaughter; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, John William "Jack" Harris, and four brothers.
Friends may call at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter from 5 to 8 p.m. today.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Ron Dunavin officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery near Bell City, Mo.
