THELMA CHRISTEEN HUDSON

ORAN - Oran resident Thelma Christeen Hudson, of 212 Miller, died Friday, Feb. 28, 1992 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. She was 74.

She was born at Knobel, Ark. May 25, 1917, daughter of Arphus Hart and Mae Lamb. She married John Burton Hudson on Sept. 28, 1935 at Corning, Ark. He survives.

Surviving along with her husband are sons Austin Hudson of Oklahoma City, Okla. and John "Peck" Hudson of Hamilton, Mont.; brothers Roy Hart of Springfield, Ore. and Homer Hart of Neelyville; sisters Ruby Bates of Pocahontas, Ark. and Ivola Rickard of Champaign, Ill.; a half-brother, Verle Winningham of Fenton, Mich.; a step-brother, Floyd Winningham of California.; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

A son, daughter, and brother preceded her in death.

Funeral service will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran. The Rev. Don Russell will officiate. Visitation will be held Sunday at 4:30 p.m.

Burial will be in New Morley Cemetery in Morley.
