Thelma Barker

Thelma E. Barker, 87, of Jackson died Monday, Aug. 7, 2006, at her home. She was born Oct. 23, 1918, in Colorado Springs, Colo., daughter of Harry and Elsie M. Sheets Barnes. She and Glenn Barker were married in 1950. He died in 1985. Survivors include a daughter, Carol Marshall of Jackson; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren...

Thelma E. Barker, 87, of Jackson died Monday, Aug. 7, 2006, at her home.

She was born Oct. 23, 1918, in Colorado Springs, Colo., daughter of Harry and Elsie M. Sheets Barnes. She and Glenn Barker were married in 1950. He died in 1985.

Survivors include a daughter, Carol Marshall of Jackson; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by an infant brother, two sisters, and a great-granddaughter.

There is no service.

McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson is in charge of arrangements.
