Terry Lynn Groves, 69, of Springville, Tennessee, formerly of Scott City, died Thursday, Oct. 16, 2014, at Landmark Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Sept. 24, 1945, in Wyatt, Missouri, to George Wallace and Mattie Virginia Brashear Groves. He married Kathryn Ann McClendon June 17, 1967, in Charleston, Missouri.
Terry was a machine operator at Procter & Gamble.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife, Kathryn; two sons, Robert and David Groves of Scott City; a daughter, Terri Miller of Paris, Tennessee; two brothers, J.L. Groves of Benton, Missouri, and Richard Groves of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Dixie Brazis of O'Fallon, Missouri; and 10 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and a sister.
Friends and family will gather to honor Terry's life from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday at VFW Post 6407 in Scott City.
