GLENALLEN, Mo. -- Terry Abernathy, 63, of Glenallen passed away Saturday, Dec. 11, 2010, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born May 5, 1947, in Henrietta, N.C., son of Willard and Alma Jean Beheler.
Abernathy was an instrumentation and control operator for American Electric Power Systems, a member of NRA, Gold Prospecting of America, CBN Television Network, and a member of Old Trace Creek Baptist Church.
Terry served his country proudly in the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include a son, Dalton Abernathy of Glenallen; a daughter, Kayla Bone of Glenallen; two brothers, Edward Abernathy and T.J. Beheler of North Carolina; and a granddaughter, Breanna Bone.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Eddie and Joseph Abernathy; and a sister, Jeanie Price.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. Wednesday to service time at Old Trace Creek Baptist Church.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the church, with James Bone officiating. Burial will be in Old Trace Creek Cemetery, with full military rites.
