JACKSON, Mo. -- Tenna Kaye Henning, 37, formerly of Jackson, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2001, at her home in Collierville, Tenn., after a courageous battle with cancer. She passed peacefully, surrounded by family and friends.
Visitation will be Saturday, Nov. 3, between 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson.
Funeral service will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Jackson, followed by interment in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson. Msgr. Edward Eftink will officiate.
Tenna was born July 5, 1964, in Dexter, Mo. She and William T. "Bill" Henning were married Sept. 9, 1989.
Loving survivors include her husband, Bill, of Collierville; her parents, Sharon and Robert Gremore of Portageville, Mo.; a sister, Lee Ann Godair; and niece, Hailey Godair, both of Jackson; a stepbrother, Bob Gremore; and nephew, Pete Gremore, both of Los Angeles, Calif.; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Minnie and Tom Henning; two brothers-in-law, Mike and Don Henning, all of Chesterfield, Mo.; and many faithful, devoted friends.
Bill and Tenna moved from Jackson to Collierville this past May. Tenna worked many years as a computer consultant, most recently working from her Collierville home for Colorado based J.D. Edwards.
While living in Jackson, she worked for the city of Cape Girardeau and TG Missouri in Perryville, Mo.
Tenna was an avid quilter and was a member of River Heritage Quilters Guild in Cape Girardeau. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Jackson.
