Teddy Wayne May. 51, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, Sept. 22, 2007, at this home.
He was born May 6, 1956, in Cocoa Beach, Fla., the son of Jack Norman and June Marie Jones May. He married Joyce Brown on Feb. 25, 1987, in Cape Girardeau.
May worked as a mechanic for the city of Denver and was a truck driver. He worked construction for the Carpenters Union in St. Louis. He was a mechanic for C&G Feed & Supply in Fruitland, and worked for Blattner Steel and Fabrication in Cape Girardeau.
He is survived by his wife, sons Teddy Wayne May II and Robert Burden, all of Whitewater; daughters Tyra Lee May and Tia Lawana May, both of Whitewater; Amanda Petry of Steamboat Springs, Colo.; mother, June Trovillion of Cape Gir-ardeau; father, of Grassy, Mo.; a brother, Rick May and a sister, Tyra Schmidt, both of Cape Girardeau; four grandchildren and two step-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister.
Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Funeral Home.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, followed by burial at Lorimier Cemetery.
