Taegin Murphy

Taegin Julianna Murphy was stillborn Monday, March 16, 2009, at Saint Francis Medical Center.

She is the daughter of Justin L. Murphy of Cape Girardeau and Jennifer M. Walker of Jackson.

Paternal survivors include grandfather and stepgrandmother, Leon and Brenda Murphy of Cape Girardeau; grandmother, Marie Sander of Burfordville; great-grandmother, Lillian Sander of Burfordville; an aunt, Missy (Brandon) Holzheimer and family of Marble Hill, Mo.; uncles, David Murphy of Nashville, Tenn., Kirk Murphy and family of Poplar Bluff, Mo., Brad Long and family of Marble Hill, Dean (Rachel) Long and family of Scopus, Mo., and the family of the late Scott Murphy of Mound City, Ill.

Maternal survivors include grandparents, Jerry and Karen Walker of Jackson; great-grandparents, Erma Ruhmann and Raymond and Genevieve Walker, all of St. Charles, Mo.; uncles, Justin (Brandy) Walker and son Grasyn of Tampa, Fla., and Jordan Walker of Jackson.

She was preceded in death by her paternal great-grandfather, Joe Sander; paternal great-grandmother, La Vina Tapley; and maternal great-grandfather, Joseph Ruhmann.

Friends may call from 11:30 a.m. until service time today at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at the funeral home, with the Revs. Luther Rhodes and John Harth officiating. Interment will be in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
