HOWARDVILLE -- Tabias Bardett Minner, 16, of Howardville, died Sunday, May 18, 1997, at St. Frances Medical Center in Cape Girardeau after an automobile accident.
He was born Aug. 5, 1980 in Hayti to Delores Minner and Tommy Rowe of Howardville.
He was a junior at New Madrid County Central High School where he was a member of ROTC, the basketball team and the track team. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Howardville.
In addition to his parents, survivors include: three brothers, Byron Minner and Tommy Curtis Rowe Jr. of Howardville and Justin Blake Rowe of Portageville; three sisters, Tambras Minner, Tanya Minner and Tawanika Minner of Howardville; paternal grandparents J.B. and Margaret Rowe of Howardville and maternal grandmother, Floyd Edwards of New Madrid.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Tonya Minner.
Friends may call Sunday from noon until the funeral starts at 2 p.m. at the Howardville Community Center. The Rev. Flem E. Bronner Sr. will officiate. Interment will follow in the Simmons Park Cemetery at Catron.
The Williams-Farr and Purnell Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
