FROHNA, Mo. -- Sylvia I. Weinhold, 87, of Frohna died Saturday, July 29, 2006, at the Lutheran Home.
She was born Dec. 7, 1918, at Farrar, Mo., daughter of Ernst and Agnes Kassel. She and Edgar A. Weinhold were married Oct. 6, 1940. He died Sept 15, 1996.
Weinhold was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church in Frohna.
Survivors include six sons, Clarence Weinhold of Perryville, Mo., Marvin Weinhold, William Weinhold, Daniel Weinhold and Richard Weinhold, all of Frohna, the Rev. Terry Weinhold of St. Joseph, Mo.; six daughters, Darlene Weinhold of San Jose, Calif., Marian Jarvinen of Manistee, Mich., Lela Butery of St. James, Mo., Janice Weinhold of Frohna, Gladys Barclay of Louisville, Ky., Pauline Bothmann of Perryville; a sister, Martha Kassel of Cape Girardeau; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother.
Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday and from 6:30 to 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at Young and Sons East Perry Chapel.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. at Concordia Lutheran School Gym, with the Rev. Wayne Palmer officiating.
Burial will be in Concordia Lutheran Cemetery.
