Sylvia Coopwood

CHARLESTON, Mo. -- Sylvia "Ree Ree" Coopwood, 53, of Charleston died Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2004, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Mo.

She was born March 3, 1951, in Mound City, Ill., daughter of Alfreddie and Catherine Taylor Coopwood.

Survivors include two sons, Jeffery and Robert Coopwood of Wilson City, Mo.; two daughters, Ann Williams of Wilson City, Latasha Coopwood of Marshall, Mo.; two sisters, Alfredia Fann of Milwaukee, Wis., Twala Blackmon of Benton Harbor, Mich.; a brother, Ray Roberson of Mound City; and five grandchildren.

Friends may call at Mercy Seat Baptist Church Friday from noon until time of service.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the church, with the Rev. J.L. Nabors officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.

Williams Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
