Funeral for Sybl J. Depro of Cape Girardeau will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel. The Rev. John Ferguson will officiate. Burial will be in Hobbs Chapel Cemetery.
Friends may call at the chapel from 4-8 p.m. today.
Depro, 84, died Wednesday, June 13, 2001, at Ratliff Care Center.
She was born Nov. 18, 1916, at Senath, Mo., daughter of Walter E. and Martha Golliher Doherty. She and Dennis F. Depro were married Aug. 18, 1934, at Benton, Mo. He died Oct. 12, 1972.
Depro had been a beautician several years, worked at Florsheim Shoe Co., and worked at the Salvation Army Store more than 13 years. She was a member of Third Street United Methodist Church and VFW Auxiliary.
Survivors include a son, Dennis M. Depro; a daughter, Debra Benton, both of Cape Girardeau; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by a brother.
