Susan Kay Criddle, 61, of Arbor passed away Friday, May 20, 2016, at the family home, after a long, courageous battle with breast cancer.
She was born Dec. 14, 1954, in St. Louis to Phillip Eugene "Gene" and Enid Alice Campbell Schearf. She married John Clifford Criddle on Oct. 20, 1972, and he preceded her in death Aug. 18, 2013.
Susan worked as a seamstress for Thorngate Ltd in Cape Girardeau until she retired.
She really enjoyed being a homemaker and taking care of her family.
She was a member of First Baptist Church in Delta.
Survivors include her parents; one son, Jason Scott (Terri Gramlisch) Criddle of Delta; one daughter, Ami Nicole (the Rev. Joshua) Andrews of Marble Hill, Missouri; one sister, Cindy Lynn (Pastor Mitchell) Jackson of Sikeston, Missouri; nine grandchildren, Aaron Christopher (Kaela) Criddle, Harley Rhea Criddle and Jesse Shayne Criddle, Ashley Nicole Andrews, Phillip Austin Andrews, Isaac Scott Andrews and Olivia Kaylene Andrews and Devon Taylor Gramlisch and Kinsey Nicole Gramlisch.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Garry E. Schearf.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. Monday, May 23, 2016, at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee, Missouri.
The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 24, 2016, at First Baptist Church in Delta, with pastor Mitchell Jackson and the Rev. Joshua Andrews officiating. Burial will be at Kenyon Cemetery near Delta.
