Beloved daughter and mother, Sumantha Jeanne Nickens, 29, of Scott City died Sunday, May 13, 2012, at the home of her mother.

She was born Feb. 6, 1983, in Sikeston, Mo., to Laura Faye Nickens and Richard L. Greene.

Sumantha was a home health aide with Coventry Health Care. Her home congregation was Church of Christ at Vanduser, Mo.

She is survived by her mother and stepfather, Laura and Chuck Jones; fiance, George Menge; a son, Chase Elliot Nickens-Gibson; a daughter, Jazmine Rose Nickens, all of Scott City; a brother, Brandon Hobbs of Cape Girardeau; a half brother, Wayne King of Sikeston; a half sister, Sandra Greene of Sikeston; and maternal grandmother, Silvia Bell of Scott City.

She was preceded in death by her father and twin brother.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.

There is no service.
