ADVANCE, Mo. -- Steven C. Dotson, 44, of Advance passed away Wednesday, June 13, 2007, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Dec. 13, 1962, in Kansas City, Kan., son of the late Willard "Bud" and Arline J. Veitenthawl Dotson.

Survivors include his former wife, Irene Dotson of Jefferson City, Mo.; a stepson, Jesse Kurre of Jefferson City; a nephew, Jerry Masters of Advance; and special friends Valerie and Eldon Collier of New Hamburg, Mo.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson is in charge of arrangements.
