MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Steven Tylor Chapman, 17, of Marble Hill died Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2018, at his home.
Born in Cape Girardeau April 17, 2001, he was the son of Harley James and Katrina Kaye Lutes Chapman.
He attended Woodland High School and Cottage of Grace Family Fellowship Church. He was a motorcycle enthusiast and belonged to the Christian Motorcycle Association. He was an avid fisherman and will be remembered for the care he showed to others.
He is survived by his parents, Harley Chapman of Marble Hill and Katrina Lutes of Patton, Missouri; three brothers, Dalton Chapman, Timmy Chapman and Caleb Tadlock; a sister, Rebeka Martin; maternal grandparents, Sharon and Gary Lutes of Glenallen, Missouri, and Walter "Buggs" Gammon; paternal grandmother, Charmaine Chapman of Marble Hill; great-grandparents, Louise Hughes and Julie Lutes Elfrink; and many other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Lester Chapman.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at Hutchings Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill.
Funeral will be conducted at noon by the Rev. Montie Jones. Burial will follow in Linville-Barrett Cemetery at Coldwater, Missouri.
