SEDGEWICKVILLE, Mo. -- Steven L. Bright, 63, of Sedgewickville passed away Thursday, Feb. 17, 2011, in Patton, Mo. SEDGEWICKVILLE, Mo. -- Steven L. Bright, 63, of Sedgewickville passed away Thursday, Feb. 17, 2011, in Patton, Mo.

He was born Dec. 9, 1947, in Eldorado, Ill., son of Stanley and Doris Musgrave Bright.

Steven was a nurse at several hospitals. He was a member of First Baptist Church in McLeansboro, Ill.

He flew helicopters during the Vietnam War from 1967 to 1970 in the U.S. Army.

Survivors include a son, Steven Bright of Sedgewickville; two daughters, Breanna and Rachel Bright of Sedgewickville; and a sister, Victoria (Carl) Mauck of Denton, Texas.

His parents preceded him in death.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Liley Funeral Home in Patton is in charge of arrangements.
