Steve Wilburn

BENTON, Mo. -- Steven Phillip Wilburn, 34, of Benton died Saturday, Dec. 24, 2011, in Scott City. He was born Aug. 13, 1977, in Fort Stewart, Ga., to Terry Jerome "T.J." and Carolyn Jean Colvin Wilburn. He married Kenya Michele Brant on July 28, 2007, in Scott City.

Steven was a self-employed carpenter and a member of Father's Arms Fellowship.

He is survived by his wife; three daughters, Joey Ivie of Charleston, Mo., Alivia Brant and Kaelyn Wilburn, both of the home; his parents, T.J. and Debbie Wilburn of Sikeston, Mo.; two brothers, Jon Wilburn and Christopher Wilburn, both of Kelso, Mo.; a sister, Michelle Wilburn of Cape Girardeau; maternal grandfather, Gene Colvin or Ocala, Fla.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Carol Wilburn.

Visitation will be at 10 a.m. until time of service today at Father's Arms Fellowship in Scott City.

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. today at the church, with Rev. Kenny Strong officiating.

Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel of Scott City is in charge of arrangements.
