Steve Koch, 56, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, Oct, 7, 2008, at Monticello House in Jackson.

He was born Aug. 7, 1952, in Cape Girardeau, son of J.L. and Helene I. Nagel Koch Jr.

Koch was a graduate of Central High School. He was employed at Heartland Distributing.

Survivors include a son, Dustin (Jacqueline) Koch of Jackson; a daughter, Ashley Koch of Fruitland; two brothers, Douglas (Linda) Koch and Gary (Linda) Koch of Cape Girardeau; a grandchild, Alyssa Koch; five nieces; and a nephew.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Douglas C. Breite officiating. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park.

Memorials may be made to the Missouri Department of Conservation.
