Due to the increase of COVID-19 cases in Cape Girardeau County and the family's concern for everyone's well-being, the memorial reception for Stephanie Stone Zimmerman scheduled for 2 p.m. Oct. 11 at La Croix United Methodist Church in Cape Girardeau has been canceled.

The family extends its deepest appreciation to everyone who supported Stephanie with their prayers and acts of kindness during her long battle with breast cancer. She is now experiencing the joy of her heavenly home, free from the physical limitations of the past several years of her earthly life. For that they are eternally grateful.

A private memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 4, at the Shiloh United Methodist Church in Shiloh, Illinois.
