Ruth Estella "Stella" Wroblewski, 93, of Scott City died Saturday, June 15, 2013, at the Fountainbleau Lodge in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Oct. 10, 1919, at Illmo, Mo., son of Alfred Amsy and Nora Lena Etter Lambert. She married Edmund Raymond Wroblewski on May 29, 1919, in St. Louis. He preceded her in death May 5, 2008.
Stella worked 30 years at the Federal Reserve Bank in St. Louis as a data entry clerk. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Scott City.
Survivors include a brother, Alfred "Jr." Lambert, of Scott City; and two sisters, Juanita Carlton and Rose Walter of Scott City.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City. Parish prayers will be at 6:30 p.m.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated by the Rev. Oliver Clavin at St. Joseph Church at 10 a.m. Monday. Interment will be in Lightner Memorial Cemetery in Scott City.
