Funeral service for Stella E. Menz, 1232 Linden, will be held at 1 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel. The Rev. Cy Smith will officiate, with burial in Lorimier Cemetery. Menz, 74, died Thursday, Dec. 5, 1996, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

She was born Aug. 6, 1922, at Portageville, daughter of Jefferson and May Williams Collins.

Menz had been a waitress.

Survivors include two sons, Michael Menz of Jefferson City, Keith Menz of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Georgia Smith of Jackson; a brother, Earl Collins of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Madge Holmes of St. Louis, Kit Schumacher of state of Florida; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, two brothers and a sister.
