Stella Marie Graden Blank, 82, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, April 24, 1998, at her home.
She was born Dec. 28, 1915, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Louis E.T. and Ella A. Haerting Graden.
She was married to Howard W. Blank for 60 years. He preceded her in death.
She is survived by six sisters, Edna A. Steimle and Ruby Doughty, both of Cape Girardeau, Helen A. Strack of San Diego, Calif., Ruth A. Daumer of Perryville, Ester E. Turner of Scott City, and Marguerite E. Stone of Springfield; and a brother, Victor Louis Graden of Bettendorf, Iowa.
A son, brother and two sisters preceded her in death.
She had been employed by Superior Electric in Cape Girardeau and was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral. She was a member of the Council of Catholic Women, VFW Auxiliary, West Side Senior Citizens and the U.O.A. group at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
Friends may call at 5 p.m. today at Lorberg Memorial Funeral Chapel. Parish prayers will be at 7 o'clock, with the Rev. Randy Tochtrop officiating.
Funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Cathedral. Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
