BLOOMFIELD -- Stella Mildred Elfrank, 85, of Danville, Ky., formerly of Bloomfield, died Thursday, Dec. 17, 1992, at the Friendship House in Danville. She was born Jan. 19, 1907, at Bell City, daughter of Thomas and Frances Morris Smith. She and James F. Elfrank were married Sept. 21, 1923. He died Jan. 12, 1973...

BLOOMFIELD -- Stella Mildred Elfrank, 85, of Danville, Ky., formerly of Bloomfield, died Thursday, Dec. 17, 1992, at the Friendship House in Danville.

She was born Jan. 19, 1907, at Bell City, daughter of Thomas and Frances Morris Smith. She and James F. Elfrank were married Sept. 21, 1923. He died Jan. 12, 1973.

Elfrank had worked at F.W. Woolworth Co. in St. Louis a number of years. She was a member of Lexington Avenue Baptist Church in Danville, and past member of Bloomfield OES.

Survivors include a son, Warren Elfrank of Danville; a brother, L.M. Smith of Ridgedale; four grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren,

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Chapel here, with burial in Bloomfield Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-7 p.m. today.
