Stanley M. Overall Jr., 81, of Farmington, Mo., died Monday, May 5, 2003, as the result of an accident.
He was born Jan. 20, 1922, in Ste. Genevieve County, son of Stanley M. and Frances Ethel Barton Overall Sr. He married Helen C. Roth, who died in 2001.
Overall was a 1939 graduate of Farmington High School. He went to work at Rozier Ford, which later became C.E. Wade's Farmington Motor Co., where he was parts manager more than 50 years, retiring in 1994.
He was a member of VFW Post 5896, lifetime member and past commander of American Legion Post 416, St. Joseph Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus.
Overall was a sergeant with the 7th Infantry Division during World War II.
Survivors include a son, Thomas Overall of Cleveland, Ohio; two daughters, Sandra Kelley of Cape Girardeau, Gail Agers of Desloge, Mo.; six sisters, Maxine Cole, Margaret Norton, Elma Jennings and Lorene Kollmeyer, all of Farmington, Doris Hawkins of Columbia, Mo., Norma Jacob of Marion, Ohio; and three granddaughters.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. today at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will be in New Calvary Cemetery.
Cozean Memorial Chapel in Farmington is in charge of arrangements.
