Stanley Migon, 72, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, Aug. 13, 2001, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
He was born April 12, 1929, in Wojnicz, Poland, son of Michal and Anna Senderak Migon. He and Florentina Niemyjska were married Jan. 24, 1955, in Brzesko, Poland.
Migon grew up and was educated in Poland. He came to Chicago in 1980 from Tarnow, Poland, and worked at the Raphael Hotel. He retired in 1994 and moved to Cape Girardeau in 1997.
He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Anna Lemieszek and Barbara Walendzewicz of Chicago, Donna Wasikowski of Cape Girardeau; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, and a sister.
Friends may call at St. Vincent's Church from 9-10 a.m. Thursday.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the church. The Rev. Dan Schulte will officiate. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
