STANLEY K. EVANS

ESSEX -- Funeral service for Stanley Keith Evans of Essex will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Watkins and Sons Funeral Chapel in Dexter, with the Revs. Joe Williams and Doyle Corlew officiating. Burial will be in Dexter Cemetery at Dexter.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. today.

Evans, 39, died Tuesday, May 23, 1995, at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis.

He was born June 7, 1955, in Cape Girardeau, son of Hollon G. "Hob" and Ruth Peck Evans.

Evans had lived at Essex and Sikeston. He was a graduate of Richland High School and attended hairstyling school. He was a hairstylist and instructor. He was a member of Taylor General Baptist Church near here.

Survivors include his mother of Essex, and a brother, Perry Evans of Smithland, Ky.
