JACKSON -- Stanley C. Hunsaker, 85, of Jackson died Saturday, May 20, 2000, at Southeast Missouri Hospital. He was born Sept. 7, 1914, at Poplar Bluff, son of Joseph C. and Ellen Phelps Hunsaker. He and Ruby I. Hahn were married in 1953. She died July 12, 1996...

JACKSON -- Stanley C. Hunsaker, 85, of Jackson died Saturday, May 20, 2000, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

He was born Sept. 7, 1914, at Poplar Bluff, son of Joseph C. and Ellen Phelps Hunsaker. He and Ruby I. Hahn were married in 1953. She died July 12, 1996.

Hunsaker retired in 1980 as groundskeeper of the Cape Girardeau Country Club and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include a stepson, Donny Hunsaker of Cape Girardeau; four daughters, Jean McClanahan, Peggy Fiedler and Patty Park, all of Jackson and Betty Hunsaker of Cape Girardeau; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Russell Heights Cemetery at Jackson, with the Rev. Cy Smith officiating.

Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
