Stanley Lee Hamilton, 43, of Beckville, Texas, died Wednesday, May 16, 2007, in Carthage, Texas.
He was born Feb. 25, 1964, in El Paso, Texas, son of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin David Hamilton.
Hamilton graduated from Ellensburg High School in Washington state. He was a truck driver and dispatcher.
Survivors include his wife, Brenda; two sons, Jeremy "Bubba" Hamilton of Jefferson County, Mo., Derek Hamilton of Cape Girardeau; three daughters, Zuna Nanney of North Carolina, Belinda Jones of Beckville, Jessica Hamilton of Cape Girardeau; four brothers, Glen Hunter and Roy Harger of Carthage, Jimmy Kinkaid and Raymond Shephard of Lonestar, Texas; two sisters, Kelley Harger of Gary, Texas, Juanita Pettelle of Washington state; stepmother, Audrie Hamilton of Washington state; and nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Hawthorn Funeral Home in Carthage.
The service will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. David Baze officiating.
