Stan "The Window Tint Man" Peeler, 50, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, April 14, 2007, at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Okla. Stan "The Window Tint Man" Peeler, 50, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, April 14, 2007, at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Okla.

He was born Oct. 2, 1956, at Vance AFB, Okla., the son of Charles William Peeler and Ilene Goodbrake Homier. He and Pamela Sue Kirkwood Peeler were married Nov. 6, 2006, in Cape Girardeau.

He was a member of the Eagles and he owned and operated Solar Control Window Tinting for more than 20 years. He was the former owner of the Orange Peeler at Plaza Galleria.

He was a member of Bearcat Getaway No. 3 in Lesterville, Mo., and the Wreckless Abandon Recreation Association.

Peeler is survived by his wife, Pamela Sue Peeler of Cape Girardeau; a son, Austin Lee Neal of Cape Girardeau; five daughters, Stormy Peeler, Catherine Nicole Neal, both of Cape Girardeau, Jaime Abernathy and husband Jason E. of St. Louis, Chelsea Chiles of Advance, Mo., Natasha Cavey of England; his father, Charles William Peeler and wife Betty of Columbus, Ky.; his mother, Ilene Homier and Sonny of Kingfisher, Okla.; his grandfather, Claude McCallister of East Cape Girardeau, Ill.; five brothers, Charlie Peeler, Jr., Louis Peeler and wife, Wendy of Columbus, Ky., Scott Nix and wife Jody of Idaho, David Brown of Cape Girardeau, Robert S. Bryan of East St. Louis, Ill.; a sister-in law, Julia Nix of Texas; four sisters, Edna Haynes of Barlow, Ky., Betty Cross of Paducah, Ky., Beth Ann Ward of Paducah, Ky., Debbie Wills of Cape Girardeau; a granddaughter, Chloe Cavey of England; aunt Mary and uncle Denny of Springfield, Ill.; eight nieces, Sky Cross, Heidi Johnson, Hailie Jaskins, Tammy Diane Peeler, Amber Peeler, Kara Nix, Rheanna Bryan, Leslie Nix; a great-niece, Alexandria Peeler; 10 nephews, Mikey Johnson, Matthew Peeler, Allen Peeler, Hunter Peeler, James Peeler, Donald Haynes, Brandon Ward, Darrien Ward, Timothy Peeler, Tyler Nix.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Larry Nix.

In lieu of flowers, the family of Stan Peeler requests donations be made to the family.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.

A celebration of his life service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with Ron Wiley officiating.
