Uthoff, 85, died Friday, April 7, 2000, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

He was born Nov. 18, 1914, in Mississippi County, son of Thomas and Eva Denning Uthoff. He and Ruby Lain were married March 27, 1933, in New Madrid County.
Uthoff was a machine operator at Nicholson File in Anderson, Ind., 32 years. He moved to Sikeston 22 years ago from Murray, Ky.
Survivors include his wife; two sisters, Pansy Ayers of Sikeston and Donna Byassee of East Prairie.
He was preceded in death by two daughters, two brothers and two sisters.
