SIKESTON -- Funeral service for William Samuel "Sonny" Dock of Sikeston will be held at 1 p.m. today at Illinois Avenue General Baptist Church. The Rev. Dale McFarland will officiate, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery.

Friends may call at the church from 11 a.m. to service time.

Nunnelee Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Dock, 58, died Sunday, Nov. 5, 1995, at Methodist Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.

He was born March 5, 1937, in Malden, son of William A. and Audrey Harden Dock. He and Barbara Hazel were married Sept. 29, 1956, in Hernando, Miss.

Dock was a building contractor. He was a member and deacon at Illinois Avenue General Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Robert Dock of Eldon; three daughters, Cindy Leonard and Cheryl Tinsley of Sikeston, Denise Northington of New Madrid; three brothers, Buddy, Fred and Jerry Dock of Sikeston; a sister, Patsy VanBehren of Morehouse; 11 grandchildren, and a great-granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by a son.
