JACKSON -- Sola A. Franck, 75, of Jackson died Monday, June 28, 1999, at her home. She was born Sept. 30, 1923, in Piggott, Ark., daughter of John and Roenna Young. She and Oscar Franck were married in 1945 in St. Louis. He died in 1974. Franck retired from Southeast Missouri State University...

JACKSON -- Sola A. Franck, 75, of Jackson died Monday, June 28, 1999, at her home.

She was born Sept. 30, 1923, in Piggott, Ark., daughter of John and Roenna Young. She and Oscar Franck were married in 1945 in St. Louis. He died in 1974.

Franck retired from Southeast Missouri State University.

Survivors include a daughter, Sharon Lange of Jackson; a sister, Nadine Millikan of McDougal, Ark.; four grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by three brothers.

There is no visitation or service.

McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson is in charge of arrangements.
