Shirley Raines

Shirley Jean Raines, 68, of Scott City died Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2018, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Jan. 7, 1950, in Cape Girardeau to Woodrow P. and Laverna Mae Eifert Clark.

She was a medical transcriptionist and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Scott City.

Shirley is survived by a son, Daniel Raines of Scott City; a daughter, Holly Raines of Cape Girardeau; a grandson, Isaiah Coleman; and two brothers, Ronnie and Mike Clark of Cape Girardeau.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Pat Owen.

Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Scott City.

Funeral Mass with be at 11 a.m. Friday at the church, with the Rev. Oliver Clavin as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Scott City.
