Shirley Marie Hottinger, 69, of Jackson died Wednesday, April 6, 2005, at her home.
She was born Oct. 11, 1935, in Mounds, Ill., daughter of Robert Howard and Hattie Marie Boren Johnson. She and Buddy Hottinger were married July 21, 1964. He died Oct. 17, 2003.
Mrs. Hottinger was a licensed practical nurse 11 years at Jackson Manor, retiring in 2004. She moved to Jackson 11 years ago from Mounds.
Survivors include three daughters, Vicki (Dan) Burdick of Hibbing, Minn., Lisa (Mickey) Rodgers and Tracie (Kevin) Lape of Jackson; her mother of Olive Branch, Ill.; eight grandchildren, Danny Burdick Jr., Kristy and Justin Jones, Kevin Todd Lape Jr., Kelsey, Torri, Tristyne and Kirklan Lape; and three great-grandchildren, Sammy and Nathaniel Burdick and Jordyn Jones.
She was preceded in death by her father and a brother, Howard Dean Johnson.
Friends may call at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home from 6 p.m. Sunday until time of service.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Larry Buckles officiating. Burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Gardens at Villa Ridge, Ill.
